satisfaction at the forefront.

Domestic Scaffolding

Professional scaffolding solutions for residential properties, ensuring safe access for home renovations, extensions and repairs.

Our domestic scaffolding service is designed specifically for homeowners and residential properties. We understand that having scaffolding at your home can be disruptive, so we work efficiently and considerately. All scaffolding is erected quickly by experienced, CISRS-certified professionals, with debris netting and protective sheeting to safeguard your property and minimize disturbance to neighbours. We offer flexible hire periods and can work around your schedule, including weekends if required. Whether you’re planning a small roof repair or a major extension, we provide the safe, stable access you need.

What We Cover:

Commercial Scaffolding

Tailored scaffolding solutions for businesses, offices, schools, retail properties and commercial developments across Lancashire.

Commercial projects demand flexibility, reliability and minimal disruption to business operations. We excel at working around your schedule, including out-of-hours erection and dismantling to avoid impacting trading hours or staff workflows. Our team understands the importance of site safety on busy commercial premises and provides comprehensive RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements), regular inspections and clear communication with site managers. We coordinate seamlessly with other contractors and can adapt quickly to project changes or tight deadlines.

What We Cover:

Industrial Scaffolding

Heavy-duty scaffolding for factories, warehouses, power stations and industrial facilities requiring robust access solutions.

Industrial scaffolding requires specialist knowledge, robust equipment and strict adherence to safety protocols. Our team has extensive experience in industrial environments, including working with hazardous materials, confined spaces and complex plant layouts. We provide bespoke scaffold designs to meet specific load requirements and access challenges. All industrial projects include comprehensive risk assessments, COSHH assessments where applicable, and full coordination with your health and safety team. We understand the critical importance of minimising downtime during planned shutdowns and work efficiently to support your operational schedule.

What We Cover:

Temporary Roofs & Weather Protection

Weather protection systems to keep your project dry and on schedule, whatever the British weather throws at you.

British weather is unpredictable, but your project timeline doesn’t have to be. Our temporary roofing and weather protection systems create a controlled environment, allowing work to continue regardless of rain, wind or cold. Particularly valuable for loft conversions, roof replacements and projects requiring extended scaffold hire. We use high-quality sheeting materials, including fire-retardant options where required. Temporary roofs not only protect the work area but also safeguard the interior of properties from weather damage, reducing risk and insurance concerns.

What We Cover:

Scaffold Tower Hire

Mobile scaffold towers for short-term access needs – quick to assemble, easy to reposition and cost-effective.

Scaffold towers are the perfect solution for jobs requiring temporary, flexible access. Ideal for painting, decorating, minor repairs, maintenance tasks and projects where traditional tube-and-fitting scaffolding would be excessive. Our towers are lightweight aluminium, easy to assemble (with basic training), and can be moved from room to room or around a site as needed. Available in various heights and platform sizes. We provide full assembly instructions and can offer training or professional erection if preferred. A cost-effective alternative for homeowners, small businesses and maintenance teams.

What We Cover:

Custom Scaffolding Solutions

Bespoke scaffolding designs for unique challenges – if you can imagine it, we can scaffold it safely and securely.

Not every project fits a standard scaffold configuration. We specialise in creating bespoke scaffolding solutions for unusual buildings, challenging access locations and complex architectural features. Our experienced designers can engineer scaffolds for overhanging structures (cantilevers), restricted ground conditions, heritage buildings requiring minimal fixings, and specialist access needs. We work closely with architects, engineers and conservation officers to develop compliant, safe solutions. Every custom design includes full structural calculations by competent persons and detailed method statements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, absolutely. We offer flexible hire periods from a few days to several months. Scaffold tower hire can be arranged on a daily or weekly basis for quick jobs. For tube-and-fitting scaffolding, we typically work on weekly or monthly rates, but we're always happy to discuss your specific timeline and find a cost-effective solution.

Yes, we specialise in challenging access situations. Options include cantilever scaffolding (overhanging structures that don't require ground support on one side), narrower scaffolds, and creative use of existing structures for support. We'll conduct a thorough site survey and recommend the best approach for your specific situation.

If scaffolding encroaches onto public highways or pavements, we'll obtain the necessary licenses from your local Highway Authority on your behalf. This includes arranging temporary traffic management, pedestrian protection and proper signage. These requirements are factored into our quotation so there are no surprises.

Yes. For scaffolds that comply with standard configurations (such as TG20:21 compliant designs), we provide the necessary design sheets. For more complex or non-standard scaffolds, we engage competent structural engineers to provide bespoke calculations and designs. All documentation is provided as part of the service and is essential for building control and insurance purposes.

Absolutely. We're experienced at working around conservatories, extensions, garages, gardens and other obstacles. We take great care to protect existing structures and will discuss the best approach during the site visit. In some cases, we can bridge over or design around features that can't be disturbed.

For standard domestic jobs, we can usually erect scaffolding within 2-3 days of your booking, sometimes sooner. Emergency callouts can be attended the same day (subject to availability). Larger commercial or industrial projects require more planning time, typically 5-7 days for scheduling and preparation. Contact us as soon as you know you need scaffolding, and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.

Yes, inspection is a legal requirement and safety priority. Under the Work at Height Regulations 2005, scaffolding must be inspected before first use, after any significant alteration, after adverse weather, and at least every 7 days thereafter. We provide these inspections as standard and supply written inspection reports with each visit. For long-term hires, this is included in the service.

For scaffold towers, yes – they're designed to be user-friendly and we can provide training or assembly instructions. For traditional tube-and-fitting scaffolding, we don't recommend DIY erection or alteration as it requires specialist knowledge and CISRS certification for safety and legal compliance. However, once our team has erected scaffolding, you're welcome to use it for your own work. We just ask that you don't alter or dismantle it yourself.

We typically invoice in stages: a deposit to secure the booking, payment upon erection, and final payment upon dismantling. For longer hires, we may invoice monthly. Payment terms are clearly outlined in our quotation. We accept bank transfer, card payments and cheques. For established commercial clients, we can arrange payment on account (subject to credit terms).

That's no problem at all – we understand projects can overrun. Just give us a call before the agreed dismantling date and we'll extend the hire period. Additional weeks are charged at our standard weekly rate. We're flexible and will work with your project timeline to ensure you're not left without access when you need it.
